Cas-Straps©
Multi-Purpose Strap

Although not classified as a dedicated medical product or an essential bleeding-control item, Cas-Straps© are issued to British troops as a lightweight, versatile support system for the treatment of injuries.

They are often used as an alternative to traditional triangular bandage slings, securing bandages, head wraps, and similar applications.

The non-stretch design helps keep bleeding-control products securely in place, while the wide webbing helps reduce pressure points and minimise the potential impact on circulation compared with cords, surgical tape, elastic tubing, and similar solutions.

Cas-Straps© maintain their performance without stretching when used underwater or in Arctic environments, and remain flexible without becoming brittle in extreme cold conditions.

Cas-Straps© provide a versatile solution for supporting the management of a wide range of external injuries and field applications. Their greatest advantage is their modular design, allowing users to adapt the straps quickly to meet different operational requirements.

The high-strength industrial hook-and-loop fastening system enables the straps to be extended, combined, and configured for multiple uses, including drag handles for casualty evacuation, securing casualties on stretchers, restraining equipment, and securing cargo on UGVs, ATVs, and other vehicles.

Designed for demanding environments, the straps can be sterilised using methods such as boiling water treatment, chlorine-based solutions, and other approved processes. They are also resistant to commonly used CBRN decontamination agents.

Available in multiple colours, sizes, and pre-configured formats, Cas-Straps© can be tailored to suit a wide range of users, missions, and operational requirements.

JSDF Flameless Heater 
for Type II Rations

The world's leading flameless ration heater, currently issued to troops of the Japan Self-Defense Forces (JSDF).
Our heater generates twice the heat for up to three times longer than conventional ration heaters, significantly exceeding NATO requirements for cold-climate ration heating systems.*

Despite its lightweight and compact design, the heater's outer bag offers substantially greater internal capacity than standard MRE heaters, making it suitable for a wider range of meal packs and operational requirements.

Great for heating up multiple pouches or cans

High Performance
Despite the ultra-low weight of the heating element*, its high energy output makes heating multiple MRE pouches quick and effortless.
The heating bag's large internal capacity allows you to heat commercially available canned food, as well as irregularly shaped, sealed, heat-resistant containers**.
Safe
Developed in Japan, the kit is manufactured to meet some of the world's most stringent food hygiene and material safety standards.
Environmentally Friendly
After use, the spent heating element becomes a soil conditioner. Once cooled, it can be mixed with soil, further reducing the weight of waste during transport and disposal.

While the current JSDF-issued kit is supplied in military green***, customised colour and language options are available to meet specific requirements (minimum order quantities apply).

*The heating element weighs only 70 g (2.5 oz) and requires a minimum of 150 ml (0.32 US pint) of fresh water as an activating agent.
**The heating element can reach temperatures of up to 180°C (356°F), while the steam produced remains at a constant 110°C (230°F).

The Flameless Heater is unaffected by heavy rain, strong winds, or snow-covered terrain, where finding dry wood or using fuel stoves may be difficult or hazardous. Our heater also performs reliably in hot, dry environments where the use of an open flame is impractical due to safety concerns.
